Day 2~The Wedding~

May 9, 2011

The Thursday before the royal wedding i was told by one of Iliana’s teachers that they were going to be having their own wedding at school. Ilianawas to be the bride :) . They had the wedding at the Village church here. It was so cute! The kids had roles the mother and father of the bride. The whole wedding party were the kids from the school. While we were there the Vicar told the children how a real wedding would go. He asked if the kids knew any reason why they shouldn’t be married..They replied with “because we are kids!” lol They went through all the steps and even signed there lives away(aka there marriage license) :) . There was even had a cake! :) Here are a few from the wedding.

And the cake cutting :)

This 30 day project was suggested to me by another photographer. I thought I could handle this photo challenge since I failed miserable on the last one. :) I was going to focus my challenge on my son Rhys but Ive decided to focus on what ever I feel like for the day. Today is technically day 2 but I didn’t post day 1 yet. So here is day 1. Day 2 will be posted later today.

This is my little man just 6 weeks old. He has started to smile more and I just love gum smiles :) . Cant wait for more.

My Baby Boy Rhys

April 4, 2011

Its been a while since I made a post so I thought I would post about my little man. Rhys (pronounced -rees-) is a Welsh name. We found this name 2 days before he was born. Before that we couldn’t agree on anything, so he might have been baby boy for a while. :) He was born via c-section on March 22nd, 2011, weighing 8’12 oz and 20 inches long. Not a small boy. :) He is such a great baby and a welcome addition to the family.  I’m so in love with this little man. So here are a few pictures from my mini shoot attempt with him. He didn’t like having his picture taken and had his paci in for allot of them. We will try again. I hope the weather is nice next week so I can get a picture of all 4 of them while they are on break. So here they are, Enjoy!

These four beautiful girls came to my studio last Saturday. They are my last session before my little man arrives and I was so glad to have a 2 week old in the studio.  The girls were all smiles and the 18 month old wouldnt sit still. I think I have met my match.  :) What a blessing to have four beautiful girls.  I like always cant decide on which to show :) ..Here are a few from their session . Enjoy!

What a great day Sunday was. I got to meet the sweetest baby and his wonderful parents. He was so cute, that I wanted to keep him :) ..But I will have my own little guy in 7 weeks or so. :) I had to let him go home with his mommy and daddy..=) Even with all the tears I think we got some great pictures. Here are a few from the session. Enjoy!

I was very excited to see this little guy again. When they came last time he was 6 months old and I could not get that little guy to smile. Not this time, he was all smiles. As long as he was on the go he was happy as clam. :) He turned 1 on Jan 9th. I’m excited to have been part of his birthday :) . I even got a few of his beautiful big sister. Here are some pics from his session.  Enjoy!

This fantastic family was my last session of 2010. We meet at RAF Brampton . It was already decorated for the holidays so the ~K~ family wanted them done there.  I had already photographed the mom before her little man was born so it was great to see them again. Their daughter is 2 and there little man is already 2 months. These are a few from their session.  Enjoy!

This wonderful family won my free session at the Alconbury village flea market. I had the pleasure of meeting little ~L~. She is almost 2 and so full of energy. :) We did their family portraits here at the studio. I did manage to take them outdoors for a few family shots before the rain came in.  Little ~L~ kept me on the go the whole time. I’m sure I was more tired then her. :) Here are a few from their session.  Enjoy!

What a great family. We actually  had some sun this day:)  The leaves were gorgeous. I love the fall colours.  I had a great time with them. Here is a few from their session. Enjoy!

This wonderful family came to me when their daughter was 2 months old for portraits.  I was thrilled when they asked me to do their Christmas photos. Now their beautiful daughter is 7 months old. The best part of being a photographer is seeing the children grow through pictures :) . We had a typical English day with little sun. However, I think the pictures came out great! The kids were fantastic and the little girl was all smiles :) Here are a few from their wonderful session. Enjoy!

Here is little ~J~ at 2 months old with the same headband on. It was so big on her then .  Wow has she grown! So cute :)
